At the crossroads of historic roads and located at a strategic point between the valleys of the Alcanadre and Vero rivers, Adahuesca is an ideal place to discover the mountains of the Guara and Sevil ranges. This Visitor Centre occupies a spot that was once home to the old parish church of San Pedro and a castle, built towards 1055. Splendid panoramic views can be enjoyed from the centre’s terrace taking in the Sevil peaks and the mountains of the Sierra de Guara.

Magic, legends, traditions, history, sorcery; a visit to the centre offers a fantastic journey taking in the beliefs and rites of the Somontano people and includes the fascinating story of the mythical old women of Sevil. The visit can be incorporated into the “Legends” hiking route.
